Description

Markus Buksch, pro at the Frankfurt club (appropriately for a golf book with an international market), breaks down the elements of the long game and the short game, analyses each shot, takes you through all the faults that so frustrate golfers good and bad, and shows how to put them right. It's the basics of golf but made simpler, more lucid than ever before. It's superbly laid out, easy on the eye, and atmospheric photos of Irish golf courses provide that litte bit of extra inspiration as you hone your technique.

A hour-long DVD accompanies the book and links to the DVD are marked throughout the book by a camera symbol.

Almost every aspect of the game is covered in the book. Specially drawn diagrams simplify the technical parts, so golfers at all levels can easily follow every chapter step-by-step. The writing is kept simple and direct and explains the main points of every aspect of the game.

Swing analysis

The large-format edition analyses 28 golf swings over 168 pages and compares them to the ideal positions. Twelve pictures from the front and twelve from the side analyse the swing in detail, and reveal its secrets...it's simply as complete as any golf book can be.

The small-format edition features a shorter swing analysis section showing swing mistakes in all handical categories.

And finally...

Destination Par is as complete as any golf book can be. Not only is it  practical, with its focus on improving your game at every stage, it’s also a pleasure to use.

And, I must admit, I love the title!
